Different meals have different energy values and cost a varying about of food to purchase. A complete list of the various items and where they can be found are detailed below ~

Fruit Cake = -165 Food, +15 Energy
A reward from completing various tasks around the Festive period. May be a limited item but at the time of writing this they can be found while collecting bonuses etc.

Light Snack = -36 Food, +3 Energy
Can be found in the Market and from gifts. A light Snack my be given as part of a daily bonus from your buildings. Typically the lowest priced meal and therefore helpful when you have a mission that requires you to purchase any type of Meal.

Picnic Basket = +3 Energy
These can be only sent as gifts and so therefore don't have a market value.

Breakfast = -80 Food, +7 Energy
A handy little meal, overshadowed by lunches when you get a little further in the game but very useful all the same. Can be purchased in the Marketplace and be found as regular or in mystery gifts.

Lunch = -165 Food, +15 Energy
A very popular gift! Lower level neighbours will thank you for sending these rather than breakfasts. You have to be a level 40 for these to unlock in the gifting area.

Dinner = -320 Food, +30 Energy
You can purchase Dinners in the marketplace when you reach level 19 but you will have to wait to reach level 100 to send them as a gift to your friends! They can be found in Mystery gifts from time to time too.

7 Course Feast = -600 Food, +62 Energy
The largest meal you can purchase with coins (after level 27) so if you can buy in bulk then you will save yourself some food in the long run. They are available as mystery gifts from time to time but you can't send them as regular gifts.

All-You-Can-Eat = -10 Horseshoes, +Full Energy Boost
Don't bother buying energy with Horseshoes, however tempting it maybe be. Accumulating energy in this game is a Marathon, and you will regret it if you spend 10 Horseshoes on energy that will be gone in the blink of an eye.

Beef Jerky = -30 Horseshoes, + Energy Refill and +1 to your Max Energy Level.
You can find these in mystery gifts, so it might be worth waiting to see if you get any from those rather than spend 30 Horseshoes. The +1 to your Max energy level is very nice though!
