Energy

Energy is the lifeblood of Frontierville, the resource you use to complete the majority of actions around your Homestead. When you are just starting out in the game your energy can run out quickly but as you progress you will find this less of a problem. Don't give up!
You will notice your energy bar depleting as you harvest, feed, clear debris, complete buildings, chop trees etc but you will notice that planting crops does NOT reduce your energy supply.

Basic Energy Level
You will see your energy bar, looking something similar to this, indicating how much energy you have until you will either need to purchase more with Food* or wait to accumulate more at the rate of 1 every 5 minutes.

When you reach your Max Basic energy level the game will stop replenishing your supplies.
However you can still add to your energy by visiting your neighbours, collecting rewards etc You will see that you are over your Max Basic Energy when your energy bar digits are yellow.

When you visit neighbours farms you will be given 1 energy as a daily bonus, the frequency of which will depend upon your Reputation level. If it the first time you have visited them you will get 5 energy! Having neighbors is really important; You can visit them each day and stock up on energy, and when they visit you then may complete tasks that mean you don't have to use any up!

Energy can also drop from items such as animals and trees while you are harvesting them as well as collections from some Daily Building Bonuses

Your Max basic energy level is dependant on a few things; Your overall XP level, completion of certain missions, and the use of certain collection items or rewards.
You can calculate your Max basic energy level here

You can replenish your energy buy purchasing Meals with your Food stores. Meals are available in the Marketplace. In order to be able to consume a meal you need to be below your max basic energy level, and allow the amount of energy that meal is providing. For instance, If you want to consume a light snack you must be at least 3 below your max energy level.
